Trelawny woman charged with murder of her sister

The Trelawny police have charged 23-year-old student, Osheen Crawford for the murder of her 19-year-old sister, Kimberly Crawford.

The accused is sheduled to appear in court next week.

Reports are that about 9:00 a.m., last Saturday, the elder sister was reprimanding her sibling about staying out late at nights when an argument escalated into a fight.

The younger sister allegedly smashed a mirror and used a piece of the shattered glass to attack her sister. A knife was subsequently brought into play which was used to stab the 19-year-old in the neck.

She was brought to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The elder sister, who initially fled the scene, reportedly went to a clergyman who handed her over to the Ulster Spring police.
